With layers of saucy ground beef, noodles, and three kinds of cheese, this Cheesy Baked Spaghetti Casserole is a dinner the whole family will love!

Ground beef casseroles were a staple of my childhood, and for good reason. They're easy to prepare, budget friendly, and can feed a lot of hungry kids (and adults!)

Cheesy Baked Spaghetti Casserole takes things to a different level. The key element? LAYERS. This recipe has four layers of goodness that make it stand out:

- spaghetti - ground beef - Italian sausage - minced garlic - jarred spaghetti sauce   - dried parsley - dried basil - oregano - cottage cheese small curd - sour cream - parmesan cheese   - salt and pepper - mozzarella cheese

Ingredients

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Bring a large pot of water to boil and add 1 Tablespoon of salt. Cook the pasta according to package instructions.

Step 1

Meanwhile, add the ground beef and Italian sausage to a large, deep frying pan over medium heat.

Step 2

Add the garlic and saute for about 1 minute, or until fragrant. Stir in the spaghetti sauce, parsley, basil, and oregano. Add the cooked noodles and stir until well coated. Remove from heat.

Step 3

Meanwhile, mix together the cottage cheese, sour cream, and Parmesan cheese. Add a pinch of salt and pepper. Layer with all of the cottage cheese mixture. Spread the remaining spaghetti on top, then sprinkle with cheese.
