Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes
Servings: 4 burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs. ground beef
  • 1 ½ teaspoon Kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 ½ teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried dill
  • ¾ teaspoon onion powder
  • 4 slices cheddar or colby jack cheese
  • 4 brioche buns
  • Sliced cucumbers and radish
  • Arugula
  • Ranch dressing

Instructions

  • Oil the grill grates by spraying with olive oil spray, or dipping a towel in olive oil and rubbing it along the grates.
  • Preheat the grill to high heat (500 degrees).
  • Combine. In a large bowl, gently mix together the beef, salt, pepper, parsley, garlic powder, dill, and onion powder.
  • Shape burgers into four round balls and place them on a cutting board and baking sheet.
  • Gently smash the burgers down with the palm of your hand, so they’re about ½ inch thick.
  • Use your thumb to place an indent in the center of each burger.
  • Grill the burgers for about 4 minutes or until they have a nice sear on the first side. Flip over and continue to grill another 4-5 minutes or until cooked through. Resist the urge to press the burgers down with a spatula! This lets all the yummy juices out.
  • Place a cheese slice on each burger for the last minute of cooking time or immediately after removing from the grill.
  • Place the burgers on the buns and pile with sliced radishes, cucumber, tomato, arugula. Drizzle with ranch dressing.
